Resource Specialist Position
- Field calls from aspiring homeowners seeking to purchase newly-constructed affordable homes within market-rate developments;
- Field calls from the general public seeking affordable housing; research potential resources based on their location and needs and make introductions;
- Work with Below Market Rate homeowners in Hello Stewardship’s portfolio to assist with selling their home to a qualified, low-to-moderate income buyer, refinancing their home to reduce their monthly payments or connecting them to resources to prevent foreclosure;
- Perform annual monitoring of 580+ BMR homeowners to ensure they are residing in their homes as their primary residency in accordance with their deed restrictions;
- Perform outreach to non-responders or individuals known to be out of compliance with program documents to present options and help owners prepare emotionally and financially for sale;
- Interview BMR owners who are selling their home to determine and document the impact of their participating in a BMR program;
- Use HomeKeeper (a Salesforce platform) to track client communications;
- Perform basic office management (managing office supplies, phone service and internet services); and
- Represent Hello Housing at housing-related events and trainings.

Other Requirements
- Undergraduate college degree required
- Degree in Social Work strongly preferred
- Two years experience in a professional work environment preferred
- Valid California driver’s license
- Proficiency in Spanish or Mandarin a plus
